Lori and Yvonne - I Do!

I've know Lori for quite some time through a sport not known to many...tug of war! Yes women do this too! Not the "let's pull over a mudpuddle" vision that most have in their mind, but the practice 2-3 times a week for 2 hours at a time! So, I was thrilled when Lori asked me to be her photographer for her wedding - I knew it would be fun! The lovely day was held at the Hamilton Yacht club and a beauty day it was! Congrats to you both!! Here are a few of my favs!

Playing with Photoshop

So ive decided to play around in photoshop and have discovered textures! Im no computer techie, so you tube has been my friend. After hours of watching and finally playing around I think i've figured it out! Not mastered but am liking the results so far!

Here is today's trial - god I hope I get the hang of it....

Kraft Family Session!

Beautiful!!!

Just a few pic's from my session with Mat, Marina, big brother Andrew and the cute little addition to the family!!

Jenna & Matt

This was my first wedding of the season!! Although the day started off with pouring rain and a touch of thunder and lightening, the rain held off for the afternoon and pictures outside prevailed!! These two were simply glowing when they saw each other! After the wedding they were headed to the sunny south....I'm so jealous! Congrats to you two and thanks for letting me share in your special day!

Catching a Cold now???

I refuse to admit that I would be catching a cold now when the weather is finally nice! I managed to go through the whole winter escaping the germs that would normally cling to me. Maybe not a full blown cold, but its that " I think i may have swallowed a sweater" scratchiness in my throat feeling that I'm trying every remedy known.
So therefore my blog is lacking tonight. Stay tuned..My first wedding of the season is this coming Saturday and I'm praying for nice weather! I hope Mother nature is going to have a "Sunny" Mother's Day weekend.

Redecorating the House!!

In all my spare time, I managed to fit in redecorating the entire downstairs!! It's amazing what new paint does to a room. Today was a great day to tackle the kitchen cupboards!! Previously I had painted them black, but now I am choosing white...Debbie's White from Debbie Travis paints to be exact. The sun was shining and since I chose to go with a melamine paint - exterior painting all the way.
Although the day was beautiful, as we were listening to the radio they happen to mention snow in the forecast...
Is it not spring yet????

Click Photography Workshop!!

This past Friday, I had the opportunity to attend a one day workshop with Chris Kufske from Click Photography. This women is an amazing photographer from whom I learned a great deal about the ins and outs of shooting great pictures. My day began at 9:30 am with theory, etc and then after lunch we had a chance to shoot some gorgeous kids!!

I could have talked to Chris all day about photography! Thanks again Mrs Kufske!!
